about
This song is about all of the uncertainty I face and many others face from the COVID-19 Outbreak. Many people have lost their jobs, become sick or lost loved ones. I’m taking everything day by day, but having a compromised immune system this has been a very lonely experience thus far. I miss my family, and I think we can all sense the uncertainty building as we are all separated during this time. This song is a reminder to be thankful for what we still have, and to nurture our relationships from afar. We are holding fear, and that’s okay. Take care of yourself for now, and hopefully, we will all be reunited soon.
lyrics
The fear
Overrides
The mind
The fear
Spreads
And won’t subside
The fear
Fuels
Angers we abide
The fear
Overrides the mind
We all saw and felt it coming
It’s born to grow and now it’s running
Back to where it all began
We were too scared to understand
Let it go
It’s alright
To be alone
Just let it sink in
No one wants to have to start
All over again
The fear
Of things we can’t
Escape
The fear
Our
Doubts duplicate
We deny till it’s too late
Act as though this is just fate
It’s time to stop chasing the blame
See we’re all the Same
Let go
We all fear
To be alone
Just let it
Sink in
No one wants
To have to start all over again
All over again
Let go
We all fear
To be alone
Just let it
Sink
No one wants this to happen
Over again
Over again
( It’s alright... It’s okay...)
